David Arakhamia, head of the \u201cSluga narodu\u201d faction, clarified that the recent statement on forming a parliamentary coalition and a new government represents only the views of individual MPs, not the official position of the entire faction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote<\/span><\/a> about this<\/span> in Telegram.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, Poturayev\u2019s statement should not be seen as representing the general position of \u201cSluga narodu,\u201d as neither the faction nor the party has issued similar declarations.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs for political assessments, there have been many today. Some individual members of our faction have also expressed their personal opinions regarding the situation in parliament\u201d. This is a statement by individual MPs, and they have the right to do so,\u201d Arakhamia wrote.<\/p>\n

Earlier, MP Mykyta Poturayev stated that the \u2018Sluga\u2019 proposes to immediately begin negotiations on forming a new parliamentary coalition and establishing a new government<\/a><\/p>\n

As a reminder, Petro Poroshenko, amid a high-profile corruption scandal in the government, called on parliament to restore its independence, form a responsible coalition<\/a>, and approve a new, professional, and accountable Cabinet of Ministers.<\/p>\n

As is known, the Verkhovna Rada Office, acting on instructions from the President\u2019s Office, is blocking the publication of letters<\/a> calling for the government\u2019s resignation following the corruption scandal.<\/p>\n
