Today, November 19, the government appointed an acting Minister of Energy of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by the press service of the department.<\/span><\/p>\n

Artem Nekrasov, who was previously the first deputy head of the former Energy Ministry, Svitlana Grinchuk, became the interim head of the ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I realize the full weight of responsibility to the country and the industry. We have entered the active phase of the most difficult heating season in the history of Ukraine. Therefore, among the urgent tasks are the stable operation of the energy system, transparency of processes, restoration of trust and effective cooperation with international partners, attraction of resources for repairs and restoration of damaged energy facilities,” the official said.<\/span><\/p>\n

He emphasized that he will make every effort to cope with the challenges until a new head of the ministry is elected.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dismissed Svitlana Grinchuk from the position of Minister of Energy<\/a> of Ukraine on Wednesday, November 19.<\/p>\n

As is known, the largest corruption scandal unfolded<\/a> in Ukraine during the term of President Volodymyr Zelensky, which engulfed his inner circle and led to resignations and high-profile political statements.
