Chancellor Friedrich Merz said that technical consultations with Kyiv have been ongoing for several months, and the process is \u201con the finish line,\u201d and the Ukrainian army will be equipped with such weapons.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aa.com.tr\/en\/europe\/germany-says-ukraine-to-get-long-range-missiles\/3748327#\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is stated<\/a> in the publication of Anadolu Ajansi.<\/p>\n<p> Merz noted that Berlin is deliberately refraining from disclosing details about the quantity and timing of deliveries \u2014 such \u201cstrategic uncertainty\u201d should prevent Russia from accurately assessing Ukraine\u2019s capabilities.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, according to him, support may include joint production of missile systems in Ukraine and Germany.<\/p>\n<p> Merz also emphasized that Germany has lifted restrictions on the range of use of the transferred weapons \u2014 this will allow Ukraine to &#8220;fully defend itself, even against military targets outside its territory.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> This initiative comes against the backdrop of escalating Russian attacks on Ukraine&#8217;s civilian infrastructure, particularly energy facilities, ahead of the winter period.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/ukraina-otrymaie-40-milyoniv-ievro-vid-nimechchyny-na-shcho-spriamuiut-koshty\/\">Germany will allocate an additional \u20ac40 million to support Ukraine this winter due to damage to energy infrastructure<\/a> as a result of Russian shelling.<\/p>\n<p> As reported, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/novyy-miliardnyy-transh-nimechchyna-rekordno-zbilshyla-dopomohu-ukraini\/\">the budget committee of the German Bundestag at its morning meeting on November 14 approved the draft budget for 2026<\/a> , which significantly increased the amount of support for Ukraine.
