US President Donald Trump has allegedly endorsed a secret 28-point peace plan developed in close coordination with Russia, which raises serious concerns in Ukraine and Europe – critics say it could be a concession to Moscow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported<\/a> by Politico.<\/p>\n

According to Western media, the document was prepared by Trump’s team under special envoy Stephen Witkoff, who consulted with Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev. The initiative allegedly provides for security guarantees, new arrangements for European security, and future relations between the United States, Russia, and Ukraine.<\/p>\n

European leaders are outraged that part of the plan could include restrictions on Ukraine \u2014 particularly in the military sphere \u2014 as well as potential territorial concessions. The document also addresses NATO, but the format and specific wording of this part are still unclear, which raises suspicions.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian officials were reportedly not involved in the development of the plan, only being shown the general outlines, without the full text. This raised suspicions that the White House and Moscow would be able to push through compromises without full transparency.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the US itself believes that the plan could become a framework document for future negotiations. Officials suggest that agreement on this document is possible in the coming weeks if all parties show flexibility.<\/p>\n

There has been no official response from Kyiv to this initiative, and European partners are increasingly concerned that the secret agreements could weaken their position in the peace process.<\/p>\n

As you know, this week, US President Donald Trump approved a plan for a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia, which consists of 28 points.<\/a><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Trump administration’s ceasefire plan provides for the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as the freezing of the contact line in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.<\/a><\/p>\n
