Video footage shows the plane rapidly approaching the ground and crashing into it, causing a massive fire.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The footage shows that the plane fell vertically, which immediately led to a fire,&#8221; the eyewitness said.<\/p>\n<p> The cause of the accident is currently unknown. It could have been a technical malfunction or a human factor.<\/p>\n<p> The Indian-developed Tejas fighter jet made its first flight on January 4, 2001.
