Lawyer Ilya Novikov, after the conclusion of the court hearing in the Supreme Court, stated that the authorities should cancel the illegal Decree on sanctions against Poroshenko, and this would be the right way out of this shameful situation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service of “European Solidarity”<\/a> .<\/p>\n

“The society and partners already have many questions for the president. If he had canceled the Decree on Sanctions, the court would have closed this proceeding, because there would no longer be a subject. But no, this did not happen and it seems that it will not happen. And there will be a next meeting,” the lawyer noted.<\/p>\n

Novikov noted that during today’s hearing, the defendant’s side was once again unable to provide the court with an explanation regarding the falsification of documents on the basis of which sanctions were imposed against Poroshenko.<\/p>\n

“The court was presented with a document signed by the then Prime Minister Shmyhal, dated February 12, which states that a disk is attached to this letter. This disk was the same draft of sanctions against Poroshenko. But we saw that the files on it were created on February 13. And the last document that the court announced was a response from the National Security and Defense Council that they registered it on February 13. A day after the meeting supposedly took place,” the defense attorney noted.<\/p>\n

Novikov emphasized that when the situation for the country is very dangerous, the fact that the authorities, with Mindich behind them, with a huge scandal behind them, allow themselves to “play these toys” and waste the remnants of trust in themselves on petty revenge against their political opponent is something much more dangerous.<\/p>\n

Petro Poroshenko noted during the meeting that people who embezzled money from the energy and defense sectors voted for these illegal sanctions at the NSDC meeting.<\/p>\n

“Among those who voted on February 12 at the NSDC meeting for sanctions against me, five people are involved in the corruption scandal, they are on the records, they ran to the apartment of Derkach, a traitor to Ukraine, and discussed how to steal money. Five NSDC members are voting for sanctions against Poroshenko as soon as they arrived from this office, which belongs to Derkach, and embezzled money from Energoatom. This is just the beginning, because less than 10% of the tapes have been made public, and there are at least three, maybe four more ministers who took direct part in these processes,” he emphasized.<\/p>\n

The previous court session was held behind closed doors. The panel of judges reviewed documents with the DSK stamp (for official use), on the basis of which the NSDC decision was made.<\/p>\n

As reported by lawyer Ilya Novikov, there are no adequate explanations in the documents as to why the authorities nevertheless needed to urgently impose sanctions against the fifth President within a few hours. In addition, some of the documents provided by the defendants were falsified, he noted. Representatives of the authorities in the closed part of the court session also stated that the sanctions against Poroshenko were imposed for educational purposes.<\/p>\n

Earlier, it became known during the consideration of the case that some of the documents on the basis of which the sanctions were imposed were submitted to the NSDC retroactively, after the decision was made and the Decree was signed. Earlier, President Zelensky’s representative in the Supreme Court admitted that changes were made to the signed Decree on the enforcement of the NSDC decision on sanctions against Poroshenko, which she called “technical amendments.”<\/p>\n

President Zelensky’s representative earlier during the meeting also confirmed that the National Bank of Ukraine had illegally imposed financial restrictions against Petro Poroshenko. It is worth recalling that the next meeting will be held on December 12<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

By the way, during a meeting of the Board of Judges of the Cassation Administrative Court within the Supreme Court, where his lawsuit to cancel Zelensky’s illegal Decree is being considered, Petro Poroshenko stated that people who embezzled money from the energy and defense sectors voted at the NSDC meeting for the introduction of illegal sanctions against the fifth President<\/a> and the leader of “Eurosolidarity”.<\/p>\n
