In the northern regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory of the Russian Federation, acute food shortages have been recorded. In several remote settlements, people are lacking even basic goods – from salt to cereals.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> independent Russian economist<\/span> Vyacheslav Shiryaev<\/span> , citing local deputies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regional MP Serhiy Syzonenko personally visited Khatanga and admitted that the situation is much worse than official statistics show. According to him, store shelves are practically empty, and food supplies are irregular or completely disrupted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Local residents explain that the region is effectively cut off from the rest of the country due to a lack of regular flights and poor logistics. As a result, food deliveries have become rare and unpredictable, and for some villages, inaccessible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shiryayev ironically noted that in the fourth year of the war, while the Kremlin is burning billions of dollars on the invasion of Ukraine, “people are preparing reindeer sleds to deliver food to the villages.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Analysts call this an example of a systemic logistical crisis in the Russian Federation: Moscow is trying to wage war and hold foreign territories, but is unable to provide even its own regions with food and basic necessities.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russia is curtailing educational opportunities in temporarily occupied territories and turning education into a tool of control.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Recall that in September, Russian companies spent a record 39% of their profits on interest payments on credit obligations<\/a> , which indicates serious financial pressure on business.<\/p>\n
