During a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada’s Anti-Corruption Committee, European Solidarity MP Viktoria Siumar stated that information about<\/span> 527 illegal dossiers<\/span> that Mindich’s criminal group collected on journalists, NABU detectives, and MPs indicates a possible merger of the government with organized crime.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Siumar emphasized that she saw some of this data in pro-Russian anonymous Telegram channels, where private information about officials, journalists, and politicians was published. She emphasized that these materials could be a tool for political attacks and pressure, which calls into question the independence of the authorities and the law enforcement system.<\/span><\/p>\n

The MP said that people whose data was collected should be officially informed about surveillance and illegal dossiers. According to her, such activities pose direct threats to the professional work of both journalists and politicians, and also undermine democracy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Siumar asked the leadership of the NABU and SAPO whether they planned to expand the investigation to all 527 files, or whether they would focus only on collecting data on the Bureau’s detectives. She also asked why the State Financial Monitoring Service did not provide information on the financial transactions of the persons involved in the case and whether this contained signs of abuse on the part of its head Pronin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Separately, the deputy recalled that back in 2023 she had contacted the NABU regarding abuses in the construction of defensive fortifications. She asked whether these facts were being investigated and whether Pronin, who previously headed the Poltava Regional State Administration, was involved in the proceedings.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Semen Kryvonos confirmed that detectives are conducting several criminal investigations into the fortifications case, including the Poltava Regional State Administration. NABU has already conducted searches, experts are conducting examinations, and the Bureau continues to collect evidence.<\/span><\/p>\n

As previously reported, NABU and SAPO have submitted a request for the former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine to be placed in custody.<\/a> Prosecutors plan to request his detention.<\/p>\n
