British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has confirmed that London is ready to send British troops to defend Ukraine after the cessation of hostilities. He discussed the topic with President Volodymyr Zelensky during a telephone conversation.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Starmer and Zelensky spoke about the work of the “coalition of the willing,” which is preparing for the possible deployment of multinational forces in Ukraine if the parties reach a ceasefire. At the beginning of the conversation, the British Prime Minister expressed condolences over the latest Russian attacks and assured that Ukraine would continue to receive London’s support at the diplomatic level.<\/span><\/p>\n

Starmer’s official spokesman said that the UK’s position remains unchanged: the country is ready to send troops after the cessation of hostilities to help protect Kyiv and guarantee stability.<\/span><\/p>\n
