Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to meet with US President Donald Trump in the United States to finalize a draft peace agreement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was told<\/span><\/a> by the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, to Axios.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, Zelenskyy is eager to meet with Trump \u201cas soon as possible.\u201d This will likely happen on Thursday, November 27, Thanksgiving Day.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI hope that President Zelenskyy\u2019s visit will take place as soon as possible because it will help President Trump continue his historic mission to end this war,\u201d the official noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

He noted that the leaders will discuss the issue of territories. At the same time, Yermak stressed that the updated version of the draft agreement meets Ukraine’s requirements and respects the “red lines.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The head of the OP added that the current plan contains not 28, but 19 points, as some proposals have been changed, and some have been removed altogether.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great that our partners support us, listen to us, and work to create a plan that is acceptable to Ukraine,\u201d he concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Trump administration’s ceasefire plan provides for the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions<\/a> , as well as the freezing of the contact line in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.<\/p>\n

Earlier, US President Donald Trump approved a plan for a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia<\/a> , which consists of 28 points.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that after the negotiations between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Geneva, the US peace plan for Ukraine underwent significant changes.<\/a><\/p>\n

As is known, Ukraine has given preliminary consent to the American peace proposal<\/a> to end the war, but the process is being slowed down by the complete lack of reaction from Russia.<\/p>\n
