The situation in southern Ukraine, particularly in the Hulyai-Polye area, remains tense, but the Defense Forces are not encircled and maintain stable communications and logistics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The General Staff reported<\/a> this with reference to the Southern Defense Forces.<\/p>\n

The department noted that Russian troops continue active assaults, intensifying artillery shelling and drone use. In just one day, the enemy carried out more than 30 assaults, over 500 artillery attacks using over 2,100 rounds of ammunition, launched approximately 10 airstrikes, conducted 250 drone drops, and carried out nearly 2,000 suicide drone attacks.<\/p>\n

Despite this, Ukrainian soldiers are holding their positions, eliminating 250\u2013300 occupiers daily and destroying over fifty pieces of equipment. The General Staff emphasized that logistics and communications are functioning, and the evacuation of the wounded is underway.<\/p>\n

They also denied the alleged existence of “blocking detachments,” calling it disinformation. On the contrary, assault units are being deployed to reinforce the defense, and decisions to hold or withdraw to new positions are made based on the actual tactical situation, to preserve the lives of soldiers.<\/p>\n

The General Staff emphasized that reliable information on the progress of military operations is provided exclusively by official sources, and called on the media and citizens not to disseminate unverified information that could play into the enemy’s hands.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Russian troops are intensifying their offensive in the Huliaipole area<\/a> in the Zaporizhia region and Velykymykhailivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The occupiers are taking advantage of the impact of strikes on Ukrainian logistics and the hampered operations of Ukrainian drones due to poor weather.<\/span><\/p>\n
