On the night of November 26, the Ukrainian military launched a series of strikes on military targets in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

The city of Cheboksary in the Chuvashia Republic has come under attack. Units of the Defense Forces struck the VNIIR-Progress plant there, which manufactures navigation equipment and components for cruise and ballistic missiles.<\/span><\/p>\n

As is known, the enterprise produces GNSS receivers and antennas for the GLONASS, GPS, and Galileo satellite systems, in particular “Comet” type modules used in Shahed type kamikaze drones, in missiles of the “Iskander-M” and “Caliber” complexes, and UMPK modules for aerial bombs.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the General Staff, a hit was recorded on the territory of the plant, which caused a fire. The extent of the damage is currently being determined.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, Ukrainian drones attacked various targets in the temporarily occupied territories. Thus, the Defense Forces hit a command post of one of the Russian units near Vasylivka in Zaporizhia, a Tor-M1 anti-aircraft missile system in Mariupol, brigade-level ammunition depots in Ocheretyne and Kamianets-Podilskyi, and a place where enemy personnel were concentrated in the Pokrovske direction in the Donetsk region.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to implement measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, destroying the enemy, its equipment and weapons,” the General Staff emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that an attack by unknown drones was recorded in Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation<\/a> . A local defense plant could again be under attack.<\/p>\n
