The vast majority of Ukrainian citizens know about the so-called “Mindichgate” – a large-scale NABU investigation into corruption schemes involving businessman and co-owner of “Quarter 95” Timur Mindich, as well as a number of politicians, ministers, and top managers in the energy sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is evidenced by<\/a> the data of a survey conducted by the Sociopolis company. Only 10% of respondents had not heard of this investigation.<\/p>\n

According to the survey results, 44.2% of respondents said they were well acquainted with the “Mindich tapes” and had a basic understanding of the details of the case. Another 45.8% reported that they had heard something about the NABU investigation, but did not have a clear picture of the events.<\/p>\n

Among those who know about the investigation, 76.6% consider it justified and are convinced that the recorded episodes of corruption really took place. In contrast, 15.7% of respondents suggest that the case may be politically motivated and aimed at putting pressure on the state leadership. Another 7.7% could not express an unambiguous assessment.<\/p>\n

Ukrainians also expressed their views on the overall level of corruption. 78.2% believe that corruption has increased since the start of the full-scale invasion. For comparison: in September 2025, 73.9% thought so. 17.3% of survey participants believe that the level of corruption has remained unchanged, and only 4.5% said that corruption has decreased.<\/p>\n

Ukrainians place the greatest responsibility for corruption on the highest authorities:<\/p>\n

19.4% \u2014 to the Office of the President,<\/p>\n

18.8% \u2014 for the president personally,<\/p>\n

18.0% \u2014 for the Verkhovna Rada and people’s deputies.<\/p>\n

Respondents also often mentioned the mentality of society (11.2%) and law enforcement agencies \u2014 the police, the Security Service of Ukraine, the prosecutor’s office (9.8%).<\/p>\n

The general mood is also dismal: 52.5% believe the country is moving in the wrong direction. Only 24% assess the course of development as correct, and another 23.5% are undecided.<\/p>\n

The survey “Attitudes of the Ukrainian population to current socio-political issues” was conducted by Sociopolis from November 18 to 24, 2025 through telephone interviews (CATI). 1,007 respondents were interviewed, and the statistical error does not exceed 3.1%.<\/p>\n
