More than 1,000 civilians still remain in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, where urban fighting is currently taking place.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by an employee of the Donetsk OAV, Dmytro Petlin,<\/span> Ukrinform<\/span> reports<\/span><\/a> .<\/p>\n

According to him, three residents were evacuated from the city last week. Despite this, about 1,250 people are still in Pokrovsk.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut these data are also unconfirmed. These are the last ones provided by local authorities, when it was still possible to count the people who were there,\u201d the official added.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the main tasks of the Ukrainian military in Pokrovsk are to gradually take control of certain areas<\/a> , support and protect existing logistical routes.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the situation in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, remains difficult. Russian troops are seeking to create conditions there for a complete encirclement of the city<\/a> .<\/p>\n

As is known, Russian troops are actively strengthening their positions in Pokrovsk and accumulating resources<\/a> capable of conducting surveillance and striking the entire settlement.<\/p>\n
