Starting December 1, a separate category of IDPs will be able to apply for a housing voucher worth two million hryvnias.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/svyrydenkoy\/1063\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.<\/p>\n<p> The Government of Ukraine has announced the launch of the first stage of a new program to assist internally displaced persons (IDPs) whose homes remained in temporarily occupied territories. According to the information released, from <strong>December 1<\/strong> , IDPs from the TOT who have the status of combatants or persons with disabilities as a result of the war will be able to apply for a housing voucher through the Diya application.<\/p>\n<p> According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, a voucher worth two million hryvnias will allow you to purchase ready-made housing, invest in construction, use it as a down payment, or repay a mortgage.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;We are expanding housing support for internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories. Starting December 1, IDPs from the TOT who have the status of a combatant or a person with a disability as a result of the war will be able to apply for a housing voucher worth two million hryvnias through Diya,&#8221; said Yulia Svyrydenko.<\/p>\n<p> She clarified that the voucher can be used for 5 years. After purchasing the home, there will be a 5-year ban on its alienation to ensure the targeted use of the funds.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;This is the first stage of a new housing assistance program for families whose homes remained in the temporarily occupied territory,&#8221; added Yulia Svyrydenko.<\/p>\n<p> According to the published conditions, a person who:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> has the status of a person with a disability as a result of war (since 2014);<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> has a confirmed previous place of residence on the TOT;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> has a current IDP certificate with the address of actual residence in the territory controlled by Ukraine;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> she and her family do not own any other housing in the controlled territories (with the exception of an outstanding mortgage or housing in a combat zone);<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> has not received housing support in other programs and does not have active applications in eRecovery.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> The Prime Minister announced that the payment mechanism will be further clarified by the Ministry of Community Development. In parallel, the government is working to expand the program to other categories of IDPs from temporarily occupied territories in order to increase the number of Ukrainian families who will be able to receive housing.<\/p>\n<p> By the way, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/ukraina-ta-nimechchyna-uzghodyly-spilne-bachennia-zhytlovoi-polityky-dlia-vpo-shcho-zminytsia-dlia-ukraintsiv\/\">Ukraine and Germany agreed on joint steps to develop social and affordable housing programs<\/a> , which is especially important for internally displaced persons. The participants of the strategic workshop agreed on areas of cooperation that will form the basis of decisions at intergovernmental consultations.<\/p>\n<p> We would like to remind you that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/sotsialne-zhytlo-vid-derzhavy-komu-nadaiut-bezkoshtovno-i-iak-staty-na-oblik\/\">in Ukraine there is a system of state support for citizens who do not have their own housing<\/a> and cannot purchase it. Social housing is provided free of charge or on preferential terms.<\/p>\n<p> The day before, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/pereselentsi-zmozhut-otrymaty-do-dvokh-milyoniv-hryven-na-zhytlo-uriad-rozshyryv-prohramu-ievidnovlennia\/\">the expansion of the \u201ceRecovery\u201d program<\/a> .
