Occupation forces are being forced to commit operational reserves near Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, as Ukrainian Defence Forces successfully block all small-group assaults and actively work to reclaim and reinforce key positions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky, the enemy, having suffered significant losses and faced effective resistance, was forced to commit its operational reserves in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration. The aggressor is constantly shifting the direction of its attacks and employing insidious infiltration tactics, including disguising as civilians or using them as cover.<\/p>\n

The primary focus of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk sector is restoring and securing logistics. Therefore, the tactical gains in Pokrovsk itself are no coincidence. The objective is to unblock logistics in the city center and along the flanks of the Pokrovsk agglomeration.<\/p>\n

In particular, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have achieved tactical success in Shakhove.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that Ukrainian units in the Shakhmatne area are creating significant logistical challenges for Russian occupation forces. Control of Shakhove threatens the so-called Dobropillya penetration by the occupiers. As a result, the Russians now clearly understand the strategic importance of this town. It is no coincidence, then, that reports from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces highlight the intensity of the fighting there.<\/p>\n

Additionally, in the Shakhmatne area, the Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located and eliminated a concentration of Russian occupation personnel.<\/p>\n

The units in question are the 336th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces. The Russian General Staff tasked these forces with encircling Pokrovsk from the north, aiming to cut off Ukrainian defenders and secure a strategic foothold. The strike was carried out using special forces drones, targeting the enemy personnel at their peak deployment. This is not the first such strike on Russian permanent and temporary positions.<\/p>\n

Additionally, special operations drones successfully destroyed a temporary personnel deployment site and an ammunition depot near the village of Sontsovka.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the targeted personnel included crews of attack drones from the 6th Guards Tank Regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division.<\/p>\n

Particular attention should be paid to the successful operations of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces directly in Pokrovsk.<\/p>\n

The focus was on eliminating enemy personnel deployment sites. The occupiers had been using so-called industrial high-rises as firing positions for sniper teams, allowing Russian troops to maintain close fire control over Ukrainian defenders. The use of attack drones, specifically loitering munitions, effectively neutralized the occupiers in this key area.<\/p>\n

The enemy has also attempted to advance along the railway line toward Gryshyne to block potential positions of Ukrainian defenders.<\/p>\n

Reports indicate intensified offensive actions, including the use of armoured vehicles near the village of Volodymyrivka, but with no success. Moreover, the shift in Russian tactics appears directly linked to the intensification of the negotiation process.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that poor coordination between Russian assault groups in Pokrovsk led to incidents of so-called friendly fire. The occupiers themselves report that units attempting to reach the center of Pokrovsk were struck by friendly fire, resulting in the destruction of personnel from two assault groups. The Russians acknowledge that the lack of coordination among small assault units contributes to their high personnel losses.<\/p>\n

Defence forces are preventing the Russians from advancing further in Pokrovsk. Fighting continues along the entire railway line.<\/p>\n

The Skala assault regiment and other units are conducting raids south of the railway to ambush and destroy enemies, the military noted.<\/p>\n

The situation in Pokrovsk is dire. The occupiers are attempting to push Ukrainian Defense Forces units out of the town. But, I note, “pushing.” This means a change in the tactics and strategy of the occupation forces. There’s no talk of any operational encirclement. The Russian occupiers themselves acknowledge this. In particular, “z-blogger” Kalashnikov says there’s no talk of encircling Pokrovsk, and the occupiers are employing the same street fighting tactics they used during the battle for Bakhmut. And they’re suffering colossal losses.<\/p>\n

Regarding the losses of enemy troops, according\u00a0to Ukrainian intelligence estimates, in the Pokrovsk direction over the past two months, they amounted to approximately 18 thousand personnel.
\nOver the past week, Ukrainian forces conducted search-and-destroy operations across roughly 11.5 square kilometres within the city of Pokrovsk.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Oleksandr Syrsky, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stated that the main tasks of the Ukrainian military in Pokrovsk are to steadily gain control over critical zones<\/a> while defending vital logistics routes.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the situation in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, remains tense. Russian troops are seeking to create conditions for a complete encirclement of the city<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As is known, Russian troops are actively strengthening their positions in Pokrovsk and accumulating resources<\/a> capable of conducting surveillance and launching strikes throughout the entire settlement.<\/p>\n

By the way, as of the end of November 2025, about 1,250 civilians are in Pokrovsk<\/a>.<\/p>\n
