A meeting<\/a> between Donald Trump’s special envoy Steven Witkoff and White House adviser Jared Kushner and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has concluded in Moscow. The meeting lasted approximately five hours.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

After the meeting, Steve Witkoff left for the US Embassy in Moscow, and Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov addressed Russian journalists.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, a compromise has not yet been reached, as the parties discussed the essence of the peace plan, not its specific provisions. Consequently, a meeting between Putin and US President Donald Trump is not currently planned.<\/p>\n

A compromise hasn’t been reached specifically on territorial issues, Ushakov noted. “Some American formulations seem acceptable, but they need to be discussed. Some are unacceptable to us,” he explained.<\/p>\n

Ushakov added that in addition to the first version of the 28-point peace plan, the Russian side received four more documents. The Russian and American sides agreed not to disclose the content of the negotiations.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, Russia refuses<\/a> to compromise on key issues in the peace talks concerning Donbas, the size of the Ukrainian army, and recognition of the occupied territories.<\/span><\/p>\n
