Recently, the Russians spread information about their alleged breakthrough in the city of Lyman in the Donetsk region. However, the Ukrainian military denied it, calling it a lie from the high command of the Russian army.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by the Third Army Corps.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe corps units repel about 40 enemy assaults per day on the approaches to Lyman and do not allow the enemy to enter the city,\u201d said the corps commander, Brigadier General Andriy Biletsky.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the past month, the occupiers have been actively trying to infiltrate the outskirts of the Lyman in small groups. Some of them were eliminated by the Ukrainian defenders, others were taken prisoner.<\/span><\/p>\n

As noted, one of the Russian war correspondents “leaked” the positions of the Russian army, after which the Defense Forces quickly discovered the enemy.<\/span><\/p>\n

“In four years, Gerasimov has “burned” his army, without taking full control of a single Ukrainian region. Therefore, while our units are nipting in the bud any attempts by the Russian Federation to approach the Liman, he is reporting to Putin about non-existent successes,” emphasized the commander of the 63rd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, Colonel Pavlo Yurchuk.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us remind you that in the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 200 enemy attack attempts<\/a> in various directions of the front, of which the enemy attacked 31 times in the Lyman direction.<\/p>\n
