“European Solidarity” calls on the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to veto the 2026 State Budget, approved by a single majority.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The co-chair of the faction, Iryna Gerashchenko,<\/span> wrote<\/span><\/a> about this on social networks<\/span> .<\/p>\n

“We proposed to reduce spending on logistics structures and state authorities and redirect them to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We found an additional 68 billion in the budget for this. We are the only faction that did not vote for either the budget or the Verkhovna Rada estimates and we have the full moral right to demand a veto,” Gerashchenko noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

She emphasized that the \u201cEU\u201d proposed voting by article, sending a corresponding letter to the speaker and voicing this proposal three times in the Verkhovna Rada, under the transcript.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo one heard us. But the Supreme Commander-in-Chief must hear the Army, which is outraged by this budget, and veto it! We have a few weeks until the beginning of 2026 to review the budget and do justice to the Army by increasing payments to the military,\u201d the deputy added.<\/span><\/p>\n
