In Russia, a serious crisis erupted in the immunoprophylaxis system at the end of 2025 – the country was actually left without the necessary amount of vaccines.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Epidemiologists and public health analysts are reporting<\/a> a sharp reduction in purchases and a rapid decline in the level of population protection, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine reports.<\/p>\n

Procurement of drugs has been reduced to a minimum: vaccines against meningococcal infection cover only about 13% of the need, and the supply of drugs against the human papillomavirus is no more than 5%. The shortage has also affected key vaccinations from the national calendar – from measles, rubella, mumps to diphtheria and whooping cough. If in 2024 the state allocated more than 40 billion rubles for tenders, then in 2025 the funding has collapsed to about 6.5 billion.<\/p>\n

The result was not long in coming: the incidence of measles jumped eleven times, the number of rubella cases increased sixfold, and whooping cough is spreading 4.5 times faster. Experts attribute the surge in infections to a sharp drop in collective immunity, a direct consequence of the failure of the system of scheduled vaccinations. Most experts in the field assess the state policy in this area as unsatisfactory, emphasizing that the main reason is a banal lack of budget funds.<\/p>\n

The Russian Ministry of Health formally explains the situation by the transition to a “strategy for the development of immunoprophylaxis until 2035” and expectations for the production of “full-cycle” vaccines within the country. However, it is obvious that the key factor was the reorientation of funding to the war against Ukraine, which brought the healthcare system to the brink of exhaustion. An additional blow to the vaccination campaign was the growing influence of anti-vaccination movements, which are de facto working to collapse the already weakened infrastructure.<\/p>\n

As a result, Russia is entering a dangerous phase of epidemiological instability: vaccine shortages, budget cuts, and public sentiment are creating the conditions for the rapid and uncontrolled spread of infections. The consequences could extend far beyond the country’s borders, posing risks to neighboring states.<\/p>\n

Recall that the crisis in the coal sector in Russia is deepening – most companies are operating in the red, and production is falling<\/a> . Data shows that 74% of enterprises are already making losses, and 23 mines have completely stopped.<\/p>\n

As reported, Russian business is rapidly losing ground, while Chinese companies are easily taking over key markets<\/a> . The Russian economy is suffocating from high credit rates and failures in monetary policy.<\/p>\n

In addition, in the northern regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory of the Russian Federation, acute food shortages have been recorded.<\/a> In several remote settlements, people lack even basic goods – from salt to cereals.<\/p>\n
