The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported the destruction of the Ryazan Oil Refinery and the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“On the night of December 6, 2025, in the course of reducing the capabilities of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the infrastructure of the Ryazan Oil Refinery in the Ryazan Region of the Russian Federation,” the post says.<\/p>\n

It is reported that the target was hit and a low-temperature isomerization unit was damaged. The extent of the damage is being determined.<\/p>\n

The General Staff clarified that the Ryazan Refinery, with a design capacity of 17.1 million tons of oil per year, is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the Russian Federation. It produces A-92\/95\/98\/100 gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, etc. The refinery is involved in supplying the armed forces of the Russian occupiers.<\/p>\n

In addition, in order to reduce the enemy’s offensive capabilities, the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant was hit by fire, which is an enterprise manufacturing components (cases) for shells on order of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.<\/p>\n

A hit and fire were recorded at the facility. The results and extent of the damage are being determined.<\/p>\n

“The defense forces continue to take measures to undermine the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressors, provide the invading army with fuel and ammunition, and force the Russian Federation to cease armed aggression against Ukraine,” the report says.<\/p>\n
