Our neighbours want to see us dead. That leaves little room for compromise.\u201d \u2014 Golda Meir<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"188\" data-end=\"286\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong>Well, my cats and bunnies, it seems pretty clear to everyone \u2014 or should I spell it out even more?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>There will be no &#8220;compromise peace&#8221; &#8211; neither &#8220;decent&#8221;, nor &#8220;just&#8221;, nor unworthy and unjust. None.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"74\" data-end=\"135\">And this \u2014 like this entire war \u2014 is not our choice at all.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"137\" data-end=\"364\">\u201cIn recent months, many Western partners and a large part of our exhausted society have been obsessed with the dangerous illusion that a quick, somewhat acceptable peace is possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"366\" data-end=\"609\">For the sake of this illusion, Puylo was offered terms so generous that it\u2019s almost shameful to mention. Yet the result caught our Western partners by surprise \u2014 though it was clear to me from the very start<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"611\" data-end=\"751\">He\u2026 you won\u2019t believe it, my cats and bunnies\u2026 suddenly demanded much more! It\u2019s never happened like this before, and suddenly, again! (c)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"188\" data-end=\"286\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" >\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/son-in-law-didnt-help-is-putin-ready-for-real-negotiations\/\">Son-in-law didn&#8217;t help: is Putin ready for real negotiations?<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\n<p data-start=\"125\" data-end=\"334\">Puylo\u2019s latest statements and interviews are so explicit that one must strain both imagination and fantasy to interpret them as anything other than a clear decision to fight until \u201ccomplete and final victory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"336\" data-end=\"478\">And for him, this \u201cvictory\u201d has nothing to do with the administrative borders of Donbas \u2014 or even the so\u2011called \u201cfour constitutional regions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"480\" data-end=\"546\">Puylo\u2019s recent declarations make his minimum demands unmistakable:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"548\" data-end=\"873\">\u2013 The entire \u201cNovorossiya\u201d must be incorporated into Rashka. Puilo is again using this term, long-unused.\u201d Let me remind you: beyond Donbass, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, it also includes at least Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions; opinions differ regarding the Kropyvnytskyi region.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"1016\">\u2013 These territorial gains, along with Crimea, must be recognized as legally Russian, not kept \u201csuspended\u201d as occupied territories.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1320\">\u2013 Everything that does not become part of Rashka must be \u201cdenazified,\u201d \u201cneutralized,\u201d disarmed, and prepared as much as possible for an easy future occupation once Rashka recovers from this war \u2014 or for a rapid transition into its sphere of control through non\u2011military means, as in Belarus or Georgia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1322\" data-end=\"1524\">Yes, under such conditions, Puylo is truly ready to end the war immediately \u2014 even today. And why wouldn\u2019t he, if he gets everything he wants, or, in their Newspeak, \u201cachieves all the goals of the SVO\u201d?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1526\" data-end=\"1714\">Let me remind you that the goal of the \u201cSVO\u201d is defined by him as the \u201cfinal solution to the Ukrainian question\u201d \u2014 in precisely the same sense in which Hitler \u201csolved\u201d the Jewish question.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"188\" data-end=\"286\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" data-right>\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/negotiations-in-the-kremlin-failed-putin-does-not-change-plans-regarding-ukraine\/\">Negotiations in the Kremlin failed: Putin does not change plans regarding Ukraine<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\n<p data-start=\"104\" data-end=\"194\">So we do not have the luxury of choosing which intermediate options to accept or reject.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"196\" data-end=\"364\">There are only two paths: either accept <strong data-start=\"236\" data-end=\"243\">all<\/strong> of Puilo\u2019s demands and allow him to \u201csettle the issue once and for all,\u201d or continue fighting. To keep fighting until we secure victory.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"366\" data-end=\"474\">Our choice lies strictly between these two outcomes \u2014 there is no third option, and there will not be one.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"476\" data-end=\"559\">Puilo leaves no room for illusions: this war will end only with a Victory Parade.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"665\">Whether it will be <strong data-start=\"580\" data-end=\"606\">theirs on Khreshchatyk<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"632\">ours in Sevastopol<\/strong> remains unclear at the moment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"667\" data-end=\"1001\">Whatever our timid partners may say \u2014 those who at the beginning firmly believed in the \u201cinvincibility\u201d of the Russian Federation, and when that belief collapsed under the weight of reality, suddenly began to panic about Russia\u2019s defeat and disintegration \u2014 the truth is this: <strong data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"999\">the winner of this war has not yet been determined.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1003\" data-end=\"1345\">Yes, the current situation at the front may seem to be inevitably tilting toward a Russian victory.\u201d But things looked no better in the summer of 2022. And by the autumn of 2022, we were already mentally sipping coffee on the Yalta waterfront \u2014 while our enemies looked at the battlefield with the same confidence of imminent triumph.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1347\" data-end=\"1530\">The pendulum of this war has already swung from one extreme to the other many times, and it is far from finishing its arc. It is not ready to stop, nor to hang limply in the middle.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"188\" data-end=\"286\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" >\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/who-in-ukraine-thinks-about-the-day-after-tomorrow-and-why-is-it-almost-no-one\/\">Ukraine\u2019s \u2018Day After Tomorrow\u2019: Who Cares, Anyway?<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\n<p>Both sides are exhausted and fighting at the limit of their strength.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Russians may currently hold the advantage, but this is only because they have been exhausting all available resources and capabilities over the past three years. In contrast, we still possess substantial untapped reserves \u2014 human, financial, and industrial.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"74\" data-end=\"214\">Yes, using these untapped reserves and resources will require a tremendous effort \u2014 on the same scale as the extraordinary effort of 2022.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"216\" data-end=\"348\">Are we capable of repeating such an extraordinary push now? Time will tell. And given the limited options, I still believe we are.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"350\" data-end=\"764\">If we succeed, Vladimir Vladimirovich\u2019s extreme ambitions, uncompromising nature, and insatiable greed \u2014 his refusal to be satisfied with the enormous gains the frightened West offers him \u201con a silver platter\u201d (and which the exhausted, seemingly abandoned Ukrainians were almost ready to accept) \u2014 may push him toward the finale once described by \u201ctheir own\u201d Alexander Sergeyevich in the tale of the Golden Fish.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"870\">But for Puylo, a broken trough can appear far larger \u2014 like the collapse of a castle after a lost war.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"188\" data-end=\"286\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"74\" data-end=\"168\">However, what are fairy tales \u2014 something very similar has already happened in real history.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"170\" data-end=\"299\">It has long been known that Puilo supposedly admires Stalin, yet for some reason, he diligently cosplays not Stalin, but Hitler.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"301\" data-end=\"633\">Sometime in February 1942, after the Red Army\u2019s defeat in the summer of 1941 and the halt of the German offensive near Moscow, Comrade Stalin reportedly offered Hitler a peace treaty very similar to the Peace of Brest in 1918. Hitler was to be given the Baltics, Belarus, Ukraine, and apparently the Don and Kuban regions as well\u2026<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"782\">In essence, he was offered official recognition of everything that the Wehrmacht physically controlled at that time. Doesn\u2019t that sound familiar?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"920\">Hitler refused because he wanted to continue the war all the way to the Urals \u2014 and, as is well known, ended up in a bunker in Berlin.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"188\" data-end=\"286\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" data-right>\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/the-portal-to-hell-is-opening-is-europe-ready-for-real-resistance\/\">The portal to hell is opening: is Europe ready for real resistance?<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\n<p>Putler&#8217;s story is already in many ways similar to Hitler&#8217;s. His current refusal to accept peace on fantastically favourable terms may one day be remembered in the same way as the F\u00fchrer&#8217;s fatal mistake in February 1942&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Of course, if we are still capable of extraordinary effort.<\/p>\n<p>So, my cats and bunnies, enough of sucking up different options \u2013 28 points, 19 points, 24 points\u2026 All these are fantasies that Putler clearly and unequivocally put an end to. It&#8217;s time to understand this and get out of reality.<\/p>\n<p>The realities of war lead to a clear victory.<\/p>\n<p>And it only depends on us to whom.<\/p>\n<p>Only we, and no one else, can become an angry crucial carp for Putler. However, as before.
