The American team is using pressure to persuade the Ukrainian side to adopt a peace agreement that is supposed to end the war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to a Ukrainian official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, the most problematic issue remains the issue of territories.<\/p>\n

\u201cPutin doesn\u2019t want to make a deal without territory. That\u2019s why they\u2019re looking for any options to make Ukraine give up territory,\u201d the official said.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the United States is urging the Ukrainian side to accept the conditions in order to conclude an agreement as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Americans are pressing, demanding: ‘faster, faster, faster,’\u201d the official explained.<\/p>\n

At the same time, he added that Ukraine cannot agree to any conditions without working out the details.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Trump administration’s preliminary ceasefire plan provides for the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions<\/a> , as well as the freezing of the contact line in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that after the negotiations between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Geneva, the US peace plan for Ukraine underwent significant changes.<\/a><\/p>\n
