The State Budget for 2026 allocated UAH 6.6 billion for academic and personal scholarships for students – this is UAH 1.2 billion more than in 2025.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Students will begin receiving the new, increased amounts from September 1, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

University students will receive twice as many scholarships: the presidential scholarship will be increased to UAH 20,000, the Verkhovna Rada scholarship to UAH 8,800, the Cabinet of Ministers to UAH 8,000, and the minimum academic scholarship to UAH 4,000. Academic and industry-specific supplements will also increase.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will also be a significant increase in colleges: the presidential scholarship will be 15,200 UAH, the minimum – 3,020 UAH, and the increased academic – 4,394 UAH.<\/span> <\/p>\n

The government explains that the increase in scholarships supports young students and motivates them to develop education in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

As previously reported, all money transfers and settlements in the SWIFT system will become traceable in digital format starting November 22.<\/a><\/p>\n

We remind you that in Ukraine, applications for participation in the state program “Winter Support” have officially opened, which provides for a one-time payment of 1,000 hryvnias.<\/a><\/p>\n
