The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has launched an update to the Reserve+ app, which now automatically displays the owner’s photo in the Reserve ID electronic document. For this new feature to work, you must update the app and the document to the latest version.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ministry of Defense reported this.<\/p>\n

Oksana Ferchuk, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, noted that the innovation should simplify the document verification process:<\/p>\n

“We strive to ensure that digital tools bring tangible benefits to everyday situations. Having photos will make document verification faster and more transparent for everyone.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The agency emphasizes that the photo will only appear for users with a biometric passport. However, the Reserve ID without a photo remains a valid legal document.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Due to heavy load, the image may load more slowly during the first few days. If the photo doesn’t appear within a few days, the Ministry of Defense recommends using the “Correct data online” feature in the app menu.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the Reserve+ app for conscripts now has a new feature: the ability to obtain a deferment from military service online for parents of children with disabilities.<\/a><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has expanded the list of categories of individuals eligible for mobilization deferment through the “Reserve+” app.<\/a><\/p>\n
