On December 8, in Ivano-Frankivsk, a man intoxicated with alcohol stabbed a National Guard serviceman in a store.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the<\/span> police<\/span><\/a> press service and<\/span> Ukrinform<\/span><\/a> .<\/span><\/p>\n

It is noted that a fight broke out between the men. A passerby called the police, after which an investigative and operational group arrived at the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

Police officers conducted primary investigative actions and interviewed witnesses. Police officers also identified and detained the suspect, who turned out to be a 59-year-old local resident, against whom the court is already considering a theft case.<\/span><\/p>\n

As it turned out, that day, the man, having entered the store, grossly violated public order and provoked a conflict with the victim. During the fight, he hit the soldier on the head several times, and then took out a knife and wounded him in the cheek.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eyewitnesses to the incident called an ambulance. Doctors hospitalized the victim.<\/span><\/p>\n

The attacker was charged under Part 4 of Article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to 7 years in prison.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier , another case of aggression against military territorial recruitment centers occurred in the Lviv region<\/a> . During the alert events, a man of mobilization age attacked a group of TCC employees and injured one of them.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, a tragic incident occurred in Lviv: while performing official duties , one of the servicemen of the territorial recruitment center received a fatal knife wound<\/a> . The victim, who was a combat veteran, died in the hospital the next morning.<\/p>\n
