On December 10, European leaders and the British Prime Minister had a telephone conversation with the American president, during which they discussed the process of a peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced by<\/span><\/a> German government spokesman Stefan Cornelius.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz called British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and American leader Donald Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n

The heads of the four states discussed the status of the ceasefire negotiations in Ukraine over the phone.<\/span><\/p>\n

As Cornelius noted, intensive work on the peace plan will continue in the near future.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey agreed that this is a crucial moment for Ukraine and for shared security in the Euro-Atlantic region,\u201d the report said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the creation of a new working group to support Ukraine<\/a> . The countries will deal with security guarantees.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on December 8, President Volodymyr Zelensky traveled to London for talks with the leaders of Great Britain, France, and Germany<\/a> \u2014 a meeting that is already being called one of the most important for shaping Ukraine’s future security architecture.<\/p>\n
