A sharp cold snap is expected in Ukraine in the coming days, especially at night. The temperature will drop to minus values at night, and in places ice and light snowfall are possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was warned<\/a> by weather forecaster Vitaliy Postrygan.<\/p>\n

“On Saturday, December 13, the cyclone will turn into a cold rear part. Arctic air will begin to flow into Ukraine,” the expert noted. <\/p>\n

According to his forecast, at night the temperature will drop to \u20134\u2026\u20136\u00b0C<\/strong> , especially on the Left Bank, where snow and ice can complicate traffic on the roads.<\/p>\n

Forecaster Ihor Kibalchych adds that after the warm and rainy first decade of December, the weather will change dramatically. Cold air from Finland and the Kola Peninsula will have the greatest impact on the Left Bank regions, where frosts of -2…-8\u00b0C<\/strong> are expected at night, and the temperature will range from -4 to +1\u00b0C<\/strong> during the day.<\/p>\n

The period of December 11\u201312 will still remain relatively warm: rain, fog, mist and westerly wind up to 12 m\/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from \u20131 to +6\u00b0C<\/strong> , and daytime temperatures will range from +7\u00b0C<\/strong> , in the south and west up to +10\u00b0C<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

After December 16, weather forecasters predict another warming: warm air masses from the west will raise daytime temperatures to +1\u2026+7\u00b0C<\/strong> , and at night it will remain near zero. Snow is currently expected only in the Carpathian highlands.<\/p>\n

The coming days promise to be unstable, with jumps in temperature and pressure, so Ukrainians are advised to be prepared for sudden weather changes.<\/p>\n
