Measures to support the attractiveness of hryvnia assets and the stability of the foreign exchange market will also curb fundamental price pressures, according to the regulator. At the same time, the rate of inflation decline will be slower than previously.

The National Bank notes that online search queries indicate growing public awareness of inflation. The foreign exchange market remains stable amid significant international aid—Ukraine received $50.8 billion this year. However, risks remain related to potential additional defense and reconstruction costs, disruption to energy infrastructure, and labor shortages.

Maintaining the rate at 15.5% allows hryvnia instruments to maintain their yield and supports the downward trend in inflation.
