By the end of the year, Ukraine will receive approximately $5 billion in military aid from US warehouses.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska in an interview with Suspilny.<\/p>\n

According to her, the bulk of the assistance will consist of air defense systems, ammunition, and critical spare parts.<\/p>\n

“This is literally the difference between life and death,” Shekerinska stressed, noting the importance of the PURL mechanism for arms supplies.<\/p>\n

Logistics are running continuously through hubs in Poland and Romania, and funding for the packages is provided by European allies and Canada. Australia and New Zealand have also joined the program.<\/p>\n

Despite the significant supply volumes, Shekerinska noted that Ukraine “always needs more air defense systems.” At the same time, NATO defense industries are ramping up production to compensate for the deficit and meet Ukraine’s needs.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Ukraine will receive over $70 million in additional military support from the governments of Australia and New Zealand<\/a> . The funding is aimed at strengthening air defense, providing ammunition, and supporting international arms supply initiatives.<\/p>\n

As reported, the Netherlands decided to allocate another 700 million euros to Ukraine for military support in early 2026.<\/a><\/p>\n
