Because of this, drivers have lost the ability to plot routes.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Time to buy a paper card. I was driving by feel. I have to reboot my phone after leaving the house,&#8221; write outraged users.<\/p>\n<p> On social networks associated with the city&#8217;s Committee for Informatization and Communications, St. Petersburgers are leaving a wave of angry comments:<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;St. Petersburg authorities, who will bear responsibility for the disgrace that has been happening with mobile communications all day? Who will compensate people for the losses?&#8221; local residents ask.<\/p>\n<p> The city committee confirmed the connection problems and admitted that mobile internet &#8220;works unstable&#8221; due to security measures. Officials did not disclose details of what measures are in question.<\/p>\n<p> Recall that Russia is preparing <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/novi-blokuvannia-v-rf-rosiiany-mozhut-vtratyty-zv-iazok-iz-zakordonom\/\">new restrictions on communications, which may affect not only private calls, but also citizens&#8217; access to foreign services.<\/a> Officially, the initiative is presented as a protective measure, but experts warn of serious consequences for freedom of information and communications.<\/p>\n<p> As reported, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/rf-buduie-tsyfrovu-izoliatsiiu-kreml-skhvalyv-blokuvannia-internetu\/\">Russia has officially approved mass restrictions on mobile internet<\/a> , saying such measures are supposedly needed to counter drones.
