The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region of Russia and a number of military facilities in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As part of measures to reduce the enemy’s offensive potential, Ukrainian units struck the facilities of the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region of the Russian Federation. This is one of the largest refineries of the Russian occupiers, capable of processing up to 15 million tons of oil and oil condensate per year and providing fuel to the Russian armed forces.<\/p>\n

Explosions and a large fire were recorded in the area of the target. Data on the extent of damage is being clarified.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In addition, the Defense Forces struck an ammunition depot near the village of Avdiivske (formerly Pervomayske), as well as enemy manpower concentration points in the Myrnograd and Rodynske districts of the Donetsk region.<\/p>\n

Information about enemy losses is currently being clarified.<\/p>\n

The General Staff emphasized that the Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to strike at Russia’s military potential in order to complicate the supply of fuel and ammunition and force the aggressor to stop the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that in temporarily occupied Crimea, a Ukrainian drone hit an An-26 military transport aircraft at the Kacha airfield.<\/a><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of December 12, drones attacked the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl, Russia.<\/a><\/p>\n
