The crew was not injured, the vessel continues to sail to its destination port, and the Ukrainian Navy is in contact with the captain.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reel\/1065486628985542\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported<\/a> by the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> It is noted that the attack was carried out using an unmanned aerial vehicle. The vessel VIVA was in the grain corridor, with 11 citizens of the Republic of Turkey on board.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Today, December 13, 2025, the aggressor country once again attacked a civilian vessel,&#8221; the Ukrainian Navy noted.<\/p>\n<p> The statement notes that the strike took place in Ukraine&#8217;s exclusive maritime economic zone, beyond the reach of Ukrainian air defenses. Russia violated the norms of international maritime law and the principles of freedom of navigation.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The Russian Federation is grossly and cynically violating the norms of international maritime law. Such actions directly contradict the fundamental principles of freedom of navigation and are a blatant violation of the San Remo Guidelines,&#8221; the Ukrainian Navy emphasized.<\/p>\n<p> Ukrainian military personnel remain in contact with the ship&#8217;s captain and are ready to provide assistance if necessary.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;With its aggressive actions, the Russian Federation is deliberately challenging international law and shipping safety.
