After a massive Russian attack on energy infrastructure, some of the damaged equipment is already being sent to facilities to restore power supply. This is aimed at stabilizing the situation in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

On the night of December 13, Russia struck a massive blow to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. The facilities of regional energy companies and Ukrenergo NPC were damaged.<\/p>\n

“Tonight, the enemy dealt us a very massive blow. Both Oblenergo and Ukrenergo facilities were damaged. Part of the critical equipment that was damaged is already on its way. Thanks to coordinated actions, we hope that the situation will be stabilized and we will be able to restore power supply in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions,” said Deputy Minister of Energy Oleksandr Vyazovchenko.<\/p>\n

According to him, an algorithm of actions to eliminate the consequences of the accident has been developed with all interested bodies and services.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the mayor of Artsyzk, Odessa region, Serhiy Parpulansky, reported on the difficult situation with electricity supply in the city.<\/p>\n

“According to data from energy companies, in the city of Artsyz, it is not worth expecting a connection in the near future or even in the next week. The situation may be somewhat better for the villages, as well as for the military town. But the forecast is also unsatisfactory at the moment. As for water supply, we will supply according to the schedule that we published earlier,” Serhiy Parpulansky wrote.<\/p>\n

Earlier, People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko reported that as a result of a missile and drone attack, 4 substations of the Ukrenergo NPC with a voltage of 330 kV were damaged. About 560 thousand consumers were left without electricity, which is approximately 60 percent, including Odessa.<\/p>\n

Ukrenergo NPC clarified that a significant number of consumers were without power in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions.<\/p>\n

“The right-bank part of the Kherson region is completely without electricity. Also, as a result of the night drone attack, consumers in the Chernihiv region are without electricity,” Ukrenergo NPC noted.<\/p>\n

By the way, as a result of the Russian attack on the night of December 13 , electricity, water, and heat supplies were cut off in Odessa<\/a> . Inviolability points were deployed in the city and drinking water supplies were organized.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of December 13, the Russian occupation army<\/a> carried out a massive air attack on Ukraine using strike drones, and after midnight \u2014 also missiles. Critical, energy, and industrial infrastructure facilities in several regions were hit.<\/p>\n
