On the night of December 15, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck a Russian strategic facility, the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The General Staff was notified<\/span><\/a> about this<\/span> .<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise. The extent of the damage is currently being determined.<\/span><\/p>\n

As reported by the General Staff, the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant is an important facility in the Russian gas processing industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

The plant annually produces up to 3.5 million tons of sulfur, which is used to manufacture explosives for military-industrial complex enterprises.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The Defense Forces will continue to take measures to undermine the offensive potential of the Russian invaders and force the Russian Federation to cease armed aggression against Ukraine,” the message says.<\/span><\/p>\n
