A recent KIIS poll captures just such a moment. If the war ends, the political landscape looks as if someone quietly turned off the lights on Bankova Street – and turned on the spotlights for others.

The conditional party of Valery Zaluzhny is in the lead – almost 20%. Without billboards, without a marathon, without “five efficiency managers”. Just trust. The second is the European Solidarity of Petro Poroshenko, which has added more than 6% in a year. The third is the political force of Andriy Biletsky / Third Assault, with a clear and understandable electorate of war.

And where is the incumbent president’s bloc? And he is fourth. 11.3%. Less than Zaluzhny. Less than Poroshenko, hated by Zelensky! Almost at the level of Biletsky. And with a tendency to fall. This is no longer “temporary fatigue”. This is political erosion.

Another thing is significant: Zelensky is no longer the main beneficiary of the war. On the contrary, with every personnel decision, every “negotiating maneuver”, every imitation of reforms, he builds trust in others. In those who were silent. In those who fought. In those who did not convince, but constantly volunteered.

If It Itches, Scratch It? Four Ways Wartime Elections Could Go Wrong

The party of Budanov, Razumkov, and Prytula is also in the top. The political field is expanding, and the monopoly of “Sluga” is disappearing. And this is the main signal.

Because elections, even hypothetical ones, are not about voting day. They are about society’s answer to a simple question: Who will we no longer trust? And the answer is becoming increasingly clear.

Recall that European Solidarity almost doubled its support over the year , and Zelensky’s political strength dropped to fourth place – these are the results of a sociological survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology from November 26 to December 10.

When asked which political force Ukrainians are ready to vote for if the war ends, 19.9% of those who have decided are ready to vote for Valery Zaluzhny’s party. A year ago, in December 2024, Zaluzhny’s party was supported by 33.2%. In second place is “European Solidarity”, for which 16.2% of those who have decided are ready to vote. Its support has increased by 6.6% over the year.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , Twitter , Telegram , and Instagram .

• Materials published in the “OPINIONS” section reflect the opinion of the author of the publication, who bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the information.
• The editorial staff of prm.ua may not share the opinions expressed in the author’s material.
• The owner of the webpage in the “OPINIONS” section is the author of the publication.

Source: Author’s Facebook page There are moments when a rating is not a number, but a verdict.
