In temporarily occupied Crimea, the Russian authorities have carried out another wave of so-called “nationalization” of Ukrainian property. Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, a native of Simferopol, was among the victims.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by Radio Liberty, citing a statement by the “speaker” of the occupation “parliament” of Crimea, Volodymyr Konstantinov.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Konstantinov, on December 16, the Russian authorities included in the list of “nationalized” property the assets of another 84 individuals and legal entities who were accused in Crimea of collaborating with Kyiv and supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

The occupation authorities stated that Oleksandr Usyk allegedly supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine, condemns the so-called “SVO” and organizes fundraising for the Ukrainian army. This is what the Russians called the reason for the seizure of his property.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to Usyk, the “nationalization” also included Ukrainian businessman and former MP Igor Franchuk, the companies Lilaste LLC, Crimean School Tescao LLC, Tavrida-Plaza LLC, which is part of the Ukrainian group TMM, as well as PJSC O.F. Zasyadko Mine, among whose shareholders is the State Property Fund of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Russian authorities also announced the seizure of property belonging to Ukrainian military personnel and volunteers, including fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel of the Ukrainian Air Force Yevhen Babych, and public figures who assist the Ukrainian army.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Russian occupation administration regularly uses “nationalization” as a tool to pressure Ukrainian citizens and businesses in Crimea, covering it up with accusations of supporting Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that during a drone attack in temporarily occupied Crimea, one of the drones hit a Russian warship.<\/a><\/p>\n

Recall that Ukrainian world boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk defeated Briton Tyson Fury twice, but did not rule out the possibility of a third fight.<\/a><\/p>\n
