{"id":1333731,"date":"2025-12-16T20:25:05","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T18:25:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/15-countries-made-new-commitments-to-help-ukraine-shmyhal-summed-up-the-new-ramstein\/"},"modified":"2025-12-16T20:25:05","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T18:25:05","slug":"15-countries-made-new-commitments-to-help-ukraine-shmyhal-summed-up-the-new-ramstein","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/15-countries-made-new-commitments-to-help-ukraine-shmyhal-summed-up-the-new-ramstein\/","title":{"rendered":"15 countries made new commitments to help Ukraine: Shmyhal summed up the new \u201cRamstein\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Today, December 16, during a meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format, the countries made new commitments to support.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/Denys_Smyhal\/12110\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He emphasized that in 2025, the partners pledged to allocate almost $5 billion to Ukrainian defense production, and about the same amount to the purchase of American weapons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBoth indicators have become record highs, and we aim to maintain this momentum in 2026,\u201d Shmyhal noted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to him, during the last meeting, Ukraine received commitments from 15 countries, in particular:<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <b>Germany<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">plans to allocate 11.5 billion euros in 2026 to support Ukraine&#8217;s defense, focusing on air defense, UAVs, and artillery fire;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has already delivered the new Patriot and IRIS-T systems.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Great Britain<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">strengthening Ukraine&#8217;s air defense capabilities by \u00a3600 million using Russian frozen assets, partner funds, and its own budget in total in 2025.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Canada<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will provide an additional 30 million Canadian dollars for Ukrainian drones and AIM-9 missiles;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will supply electro-optical sensors and other military assistance.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Netherlands<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will allocate 700 million euros for UAVs, including 400 million euros for Ukrainian-made drones.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Montenegro<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is preparing a contribution to PURL and the NSATU fund in support of Ukraine.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Denmark<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is preparing a new contribution to PURL with a focus on Ukraine&#8217;s aviation capabilities;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will provide a support package of 250 million euros &#8211; drones, air defense, and aviation support.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Estonia<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be maintained at a level of no less than 0.25% of GDP \u2014 142 million euros;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will contribute 9 million euros to the IT coalition.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Latvia<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will continue to maintain at a level of no less than 0.25% of GDP \u2014 110 million euros, focusing on UAVs, electronic warfare, and PURL.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Lithuania<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in 2026, it will allocate more than 220 million euros for military support for Ukraine at a level of no less than 0.25% of GDP, including contributions to PURL, the Patriot for Ukraine program, the &#8220;Czech initiative&#8221; and the demining coalition.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Luxembourg<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will allocate 100 million euros in 2026 to support Ukraine;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will make a second contribution of 15 million euros to PURL.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>New Zealand<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will contribute $15 million to the PURL initiative.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Norway<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">about $7 billion in total military assistance in 2026;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">contributions to support American air defense systems and the \u201cCzech initiative.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Poland<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">plans to transfer 155mm shells;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">seeks to implement joint projects with Ukraine within the framework of SAFE.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Portugal<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will contribute to the \u201cCzech initiative\u201d;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will transfer 10 million euros for UAVs.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <b>Czech Republic<\/b><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Within the framework of the \u201cCzech initiative\u201d for 2026, the supply of 760 thousand artillery shells has already been financed.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> As a reminder, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/systemy-ppo-ta-rakety-velyka-brytaniia-oholosyla-novyy-paket-dopomohy-ukraini\/\">the United Kingdom announced a record amount of aid to Ukraine for the year<\/a> to strengthen air defense &#8211;
