The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, reported that the power outages, as a result of Russian attacks on the energy sector, have been given the status of a state-level emergency.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote<\/span><\/a> about this<\/span> in Telegram.<\/span><\/p>\n

This decision was made at a meeting of the commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies in the Odessa Regional Administrative District.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Kiper, the Russian attacks disrupted normal living conditions for 50,000 residents of the region for more than three days.<\/span><\/p>\n

“By a separate decision, the commission instructed the heads of military administrations, community leaders, and National Police bodies to conduct preventive and explanatory work with entrepreneurs on the need for minimal use of illumination and decorative lighting in order to save electricity for the population and critical infrastructure facilities,” the report says.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, at the commission meeting, it was decided to send additional funds from the reserve fund to communities to replenish fuel and lubricants.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the official noted, this will ensure the uninterrupted operation of generators that power critical infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of December 13, Ukraine experienced another massive combined air strike. This time, the southern regions were affected. 10 substations were put out of service in the Odessa region<\/a> .<\/p>\n
