On the night of December 18, Cherkasy suffered a powerful blow from Russian troops \u2014 the enemy used strike drones aimed at the regional center.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, reported<\/a> on the consequences of the attack.<\/p>\n

According to him, civilian objects and the city’s infrastructure were damaged as a result of the shelling. Six residents sought medical treatment, all of them received minor injuries and are under medical supervision, and there is no threat to their lives.<\/p>\n

Hostile drones struck critical infrastructure, causing power outages in several areas of Cherkasy. Emergency crews are already working to eliminate the consequences of the accidents, and restoration work is underway. <\/p>\n

Numerous destructions in the residential sector were also recorded. Due to the fall of UAV debris, private houses were damaged – windows were broken, roofs were damaged, and fires broke out in some areas. Preliminary reports indicate at least a dozen or so households, but the survey of the areas has not yet been completed. In addition, a sports facility and several cars were damaged. <\/p>\n

Emergency services continue to record the consequences of the attack and provide assistance to the victims.<\/p>\n

We will remind, on the evening of December 17, the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA, Ivan Fedorov, reported that the number of victims from the Russian attack had increased again.<\/a><\/p>\n
