On Thursday, December 18, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada supported the renaming of “kopecks” to “steps” in the first reading.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> became known<\/span><\/a> from the Verkhovna Rada meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

264 MPs voted \u201cfor\u201d the relevant decision. The draft law will now await a second reading.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is worth noting that this project was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on October 1.<\/p>\n

We will remind you that the National Bank of Ukraine initiated the change<\/a> of the name of the coins from “kopeck” to “step”.<\/p>\n

As is known, the head of the NBU emphasized that the corresponding reform of the monetary system does not involve any additional costs<\/a> .<\/p>\n
