The minister emphasized that the announced aid is direct budget support for Ukraine for the next year.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Grateful to Sweden for today&#8217;s announcement of direct budget support to Ukraine in the amount of $200 million in 2026,&#8221; Andriy Sybiga wrote.<\/p>\n<p> The Foreign Minister noted that Sweden has been demonstrating leadership in supporting Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war. According to him, in August, Sweden became the first country to provide $75 million in direct budget support.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;This funding will meet the daily needs of people during the war, including critical public services, energy supply, healthcare, schools, pensions and other payments,&#8221; Andriy Sybiga noted.<\/p>\n<p> The Minister also emphasized the importance of consistent support from Sweden.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;We are deeply grateful to Sweden for its determination, support, and unwavering solidarity,&#8221; Andriy Sybiga added.<\/p>\n<p> Earlier, the Swedish government announced <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/ukraina-otrymaie-100-milyoniv-ievro-vid-shvetsii-kudy-spriamuiut-koshty\/\">a new aid package for Ukraine worth over 1.1 billion Swedish kronor<\/a> (approximately 100 million euros). The funds are aimed at covering the country&#8217;s most urgent needs during the winter period and strengthening its resilience in the future.<\/p>\n<p> Recall that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the first <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/ukraina-otrymaie-vid-shvetsii-150-vynyshchuvachiv-gripen-koly-vony-nadiydut\/\">Swedish Gripen fighters will arrive in Ukraine next year<\/a> .
