The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published<\/a> operational information as of 8 a.m. on December 22, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In total, 223 combat clashes<\/strong> took place over the past 24 hours. Over the past 24 hours, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck the area of concentration of personnel and one other important object of the Russian invaders.<\/p>\n

The enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using one missile, 18 air strikes, dropping 50 guided bombs. In addition, 3,248 kamikaze drones were used to strike and 3,177 attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops and settlements.<\/p>\n

Three attacks by Russian invaders took place in the North Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions. The enemy carried out one air strike with three aerial bombs, and carried out 116 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, eight of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces repelled 16 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Prylipka, Dvorichanske and in the direction of Izbitsky, Vilcha, and Obukhivka.<\/p>\n

There were six attacks by the invaders in the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the direction of Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Hlushkivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked 19 times, trying to advance in the directions of the settlements of Druzhelyubivka, Stavky, Novoserhiivka, Koroviy Yar, Stepove, Olhivka, Lyman, Drobysheve, and in the Zarichne area.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, our defenders repelled five assaults by occupation forces near Yampol and Siversk.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders three times near the settlements of Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, and Vyrolyubivka.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out 27 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, Kostyantynivka, Rusyn Yar, and towards Sofiivka and Stepanivka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk<\/strong> direction, 57 combat clashes took place in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Rodynske, Sukhetske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya and towards Hryshyne, Dorozhne, Novopidhorodne, Serhiivka, Novyy Shakhove and Novopavlivka.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces stopped 17 enemy attempts to break through the defensive lines in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivkagrad, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Pryvilne, Rybne, Pershotravneve and towards the settlements of Andriivka-Klevtsove and Ivanivka.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipol<\/strong> direction, the aggressor tried to advance on the positions of our troops in the Hulyaipol area 11 times.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, our defenders repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas of Stepovoye, Shcherbaky, Maly Shcherbaky, Stepnohirsk, and towards Novoandreyevka and Prymorske.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, the enemy made two fruitless attempts to approach the positions of Ukrainian units.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n

Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.<\/p>\n

It is worth adding that in total, the losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,120 people<\/a> . Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized three tanks, two armored combat vehicles, 10 artillery systems, 109 unmanned aerial vehicles of the operational-tactical level, and 64 units of automotive equipment of the Russian invaders.<\/p>\n
