After the massive Russian attack on December 23, Ukrainian nuclear power plants reduced electricity production, and consumers were blacked out in eight regions.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Acting Energy Minister Artem Nekrasov said that Russia’s attacks on energy infrastructure have forced nuclear power plants to reduce generation capacity.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, energy workers will gradually return nuclear plants to nominal performance immediately after the damaged networks are restored.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nekrasov emphasized that attacks on facilities that provide the NPP’s own needs and transmit electricity to the general grid violate nuclear safety standards.<\/span><\/p>\n

He emphasized that the world community must pay attention to this and stop Russia’s policy of energy terror.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, it was reported that Russian forces carried out a massive air strike on Ukraine, using over 600 drones and dozens of missiles.<\/a> The main target of the attack was energy infrastructure, particularly in the western regions.<\/p>\n
