The Kremlin does not consider the negotiations between the Russian and American sides in Miami a breakthrough and calls them a routine work process.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by the Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Radio Liberty<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

According to him, the main goal of the meeting was to obtain information from the US on the results of their consultations with European partners and Ukraine. Based on this information, Moscow will assess how closely these developments align with the “spirit of Anchorage.”<\/p>\n

Peskov recalled the August summit in Anchorage, Alaska, after which US President Donald Trump stated that no agreements on Ukraine had been reached with Russia.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the American team is using pressure to persuade the Ukrainian side to accept a peace agreement<\/a> that would supposedly end the war.<\/p>\n

As is known, US peace negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner demanded that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky agree to the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbas<\/a> , as Russia insists.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, following negotiations between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Geneva , the US peace plan for Ukraine underwent significant changes.<\/a><\/p>\n
