The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have exposed eight more organizers of mobilization evasion schemes in various regions of Ukraine. The dealers issued fake medical certificates or smuggled men abroad in exchange for large bribes.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the cost of such “services” ranged from 10 to 15 thousand dollars. For this money, conscripts were promised illegal departure from the country or forged documents proving unfitness for service.<\/span> <\/p>\n

In Transcarpathia, law enforcement officers detained a 62-year-old carrier from Lviv who was transporting evaders to border areas and transporting them to the EU through a non-working gas pipeline. He was helped by an accomplice from Pokrovsk, who was abroad and looking for “clients” on TikTok.<\/span><\/p>\n

Four organizers of the illegal trafficking of men to Transnistria were exposed in Odessa. The group included a deserter who, disguised as a military man, transported the evaders in the trunk of a car.<\/span><\/p>\n

A former law enforcement officer was detained in the Poltava region for selling fake disability certificates. To do this, he involved familiar doctors and registered “patients” for fictitious inpatient treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Dnipro, law enforcement officers detained two men who were escorting evaders to the European Union via forest routes and giving them camouflaged clothing for disguise.<\/p>\n

The suspects were charged under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.<\/span><\/p>\n

As previously reported,the Security Service of Ukraine eliminated six criminal schemes for evading mobilization that operated in various regions of the country.<\/a><\/p>\n
