Fighting is ongoing in the border region of Sumy Oblast, near the village of Grabovske. About 100 Russian soldiers have entered the village, trying to advance towards the settlement of Ryasne.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> “Suspilne” with reference to the head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Group, Viktor Tregubov.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said that the breakthrough of the Russian army was sudden. The occupiers entered the village, seeking to capture it for further advancement into the region.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Currently, Russian units are entrenching themselves in the southern part of Grabovskoye. Ukrainian forces are trying to knock them out of their occupied positions. Fighting is ongoing in the village,” Tregubov explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, it is possible to secure border settlements from a Russian breakthrough if a several-kilometer zone of control of the Defense Forces is created deep into the territory of the Russian Federation.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russian military personnel evacuated civilian residents of the village of Grabovske, Krasnopil community, Sumy region.<\/a><\/p>\n

As it later became known, before deporting the civilian residents of the village of Grabovske, the occupiers gathered people in the premises of the local church<\/a> . After that, the occupiers took them towards Russian territory.<\/p>\n
