{"id":1336148,"date":"2025-12-23T16:02:39","date_gmt":"2025-12-23T14:02:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/water-tariffs-the-government-made-a-new-statement\/"},"modified":"2025-12-23T16:02:39","modified_gmt":"2025-12-23T14:02:39","slug":"water-tariffs-the-government-made-a-new-statement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/water-tariffs-the-government-made-a-new-statement\/","title":{"rendered":"Water tariffs: the government made a new statement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Cabinet of Ministers has appealed to the National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Utilities Sectors with a request to postpone the change in water tariffs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/svyrydenkoy\/1253\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was announced<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She emphasized that water tariffs for the population should not be changed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOur position is clear: in times of war, people should not feel additional financial pressure,\u201d the Prime Minister explained.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the same time, Svyrydenko explained that it is necessary to find a joint solution that \u201cbalances the interests of consumers and the needs of service providers,\u201d since the latter, according to her, should not go into debt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe next step is for the Government, together with the National Commission for the Regulation of Energy and Utilities of Ukraine, to develop a joint solution,\u201d the official concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/platizhky-za-haz-znachno-zrostut-z-1-sichnia\/\">gas payments for Ukrainians will change<\/a> from January 1, 2026.
