Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said that during negotiations with the United States, Russia continues to demand the transfer of the entire territory of Donbas, despite the fact that it does not control it militarily.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking at the traditional pre-New Year meeting of the State Council, Putin asserted that Moscow remains prepared to make the same “concessions” he discussed with Donald Trump during their meeting in Anchorage.<\/p>\n

According to him, the Kremlin’s position is that “Donbas is Russian,” and the question of the Kramatorsk-Konstantinovsk-Slavyansk industrial hub is non-negotiable. At the same time, Putin allowed for the possibility of a partial territorial exchange, but only on the Russian side.<\/p>\n

The dictator also claimed that some positions were allegedly agreed upon with the American side “on the fly” during the talks in Anchorage. At the same time, he lamented that after US consultations with its European partners, Washington abandoned some agreements, calling this a sign of “weakness.”<\/p>\n
