To receive the funds, an application and supporting documents must be submitted to the relevant ministry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/svyrydenkoy\/1264\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.<\/p>\n<p> Released Ukrainian civilians who were illegally detained by Russia will be able to receive a payment of 50,000 hryvnias. Applications are accepted by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> The package of documents must include a certificate from the Joint Center for Coordination of the Search and Release of Prisoners of War and Persons Illegally Deprived of Liberty as a Result of Aggression Against Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> Civilians who returned to the territory of Ukraine on their own must additionally provide a document recognizing the person as a victim in criminal proceedings. This is issued by law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Released Ukrainian civilians, who were illegally deprived of their freedom by Russia, will receive a one-time payment of UAH 50,000,&#8221; said Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.<\/p>\n<p> In addition to cash payments, released civilians, regardless of their status, receive basic necessities. These include food, hygiene products, seasonal clothing and footwear, as well as free legal, medical, and social assistance.<\/p>\n<p> Also, civilians who have been officially detained as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine are entitled to a one-time state benefit of UAH 100,000 upon release. In addition, an annual payment of the same amount is provided for each year of captivity.<\/p>\n<p> The right to annual assistance also extends to family members of prisoners.<\/p>\n<p> To date, almost 12,000 such payments have been made in Ukraine. The total amount of assistance is about 1.2 billion hryvnias, of which 359 million hryvnias are one-time benefits after dismissal, and 818.7 million hryvnias are annual payments.<\/p>\n<p> We will remind you that on December 18, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada supported <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/rada-pidtrymala-zakonoproiekt-pro-vidpustku-dlia-zvilnenykh-z-polonu-detali\/\">a bill on a 90-day leave for military personnel released from captivity<\/a> with full preservation of their financial security.<\/p>\n<p> Earlier, the Belarusian regime, in agreement with the United States <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/za-spryiannia-ssha-bilorus-zvilnyla-z-polonu-p-iatokh-ukrainskykh-hromadian\/\">, released five Ukrainian citizens who were held captive<\/a> .
